Exhibition 'LOOKING'

December 17 – January 10, 2021 Sztuka Wyboru, Gdańsk

'LOOKING' is a painting exhibition by Agnieszka Wielewska, showcasing primarily works created over the past year, though not exclusively.

The paintings tell a story of light—saturated with glazes, semi-transparent oil layers applied using the artist’s distinctive technique.

Complementing the exhibition are small-format still lifes, painted as part of a three-month Cultural Scholarship from the City of Gdańsk. These are not traditional studies of objects with detailed descriptions of texture, shape, or color, but rather an exploration of light and shadow as phenomena expressing sensitivity and perception.

The exhibition opening will take place on December 17 at 6:00 PM at Sztuka Wyboru. The exhibition will be open from December 17 to January 10, 2021, during the bookstore’s opening hours.

All paintings are available for purchase.

This project was realized with funding from the City of Gdańsk as part of the Cultural Scholarship program.
